The provision of this service by the college is aimed at enhancing the accessibility and convenience for students, particularly those residing in distant or rural areas. Its primary objective is to mitigate transportation challenges, particularly for female students, who may encounter difficulties due to the lack of reliable conveyance options in such regions. By offering this service, the college endeavors to ensure that all students have equitable access to educational opportunities, irrespective of their geographic location or transportation constraints.
Cafeteria:-
The SMDTKM cafeteria is more than just a place to eat. It’s also a nice place for students to take a break after a long day. They can get away from the stress of everyday tasks here. Additionally, they can enjoy tasty and healthy meals at reasonable costs, all in a spot that is neat and germ-free.
Student Security:-
At SMDTKM, ensuring the safety of our students is our number one priority. We have implemented various measures to create a secure environment on campus. Our extensive network of CCTV cameras provides continuous surveillance, keeping a watchful eye on all areas. Additionally, our biometric attendance system accurately records the presence of students and staff members, adding an extra layer of security. To keep parents informed and involved, we send regular attendance notifications directly to them, ensuring they are always aware of their child’s whereabouts during college hours. These comprehensive safety measures are fundamental to our commitment to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students at SMDTKM.
Library Facility:-
A key component of academic achievement, the library at Shrimati Mohari Devi Taparia Kanya Mahavidyalaya (SMDTKM) provides a wide range of reading materials, including periodicals and newspapers, in addition to a selective collection of 15,000 volumes that are catered to the syllabus. This extensive resource fosters personal development and lifetime learning in addition to academic endeavours. In order to provide students with a rich and fulfilling educational experience, our experienced library staff is dedicated to helping them use these resources successfully.
Auditorium Facility:-
An indoor auditorium has been developed inside the SMDTKM campus to hold cultural events and other inter college activities. The auditorium is fully air cooled with seating capacity of 800 students. The auditorium, installed with projector, stage equipments and green room, etc. Apart from regular co-curricular activities, interactive sessions, seminars, debates and presentations are being organized here.
